About The Hetrick Center
Dr. Paul R. Hetrick opened his first clinic in Middletown, Pennsylvania in 1979. From the start, he set high personal standards to provide the best quality health care services available and earn the trust and friendship of his patients. As Dr. Hetrick continued to advance his education and experience he developed a “vision” for a unique health care clinic with a “multi-disciplinary” approach that included a variety of specialized health care providers, and services he could offer his patients all “under one roof” for their convenience and improved health. Thus, he set the founding principles of today’s “state-of-the-art” Hetrick Center clinics. We continue to grow! We have four clinics located in the tri-state area for the convenience of our patients. They all are handicap accessible and have off street parking to accommodate patients needs and conditions. We are planning new clinic openings to address the demand for the quality services we provide over the next 3 years. Our enviable reputation grows as a premier health care provider with our satisfied patients and in the allopathic community; we are the provider of choice for chiropractic and physical therapy services. Along the way Dr. Hetrick invented the HydroWorx© aquatic therapy pool. This unique heated therapy pool has a temperature of a comfortable and therapeutic 93 degrees. Our therapy pools features built-in submergible treadmills that raise above the surface of the water, to floor level permitting patients with wheelchairs, walkers or crutches direct access to the treadmill and then be lowered to the specific depth desired in the pool. This newest rehabilitation tool speeds the recovery of the patient in a safe and comfortable environment. Many post surgical procedures can begin rehabilitation sooner in water minimizing rehabilitation discomfort and shortening the patients’ recovery time. We also use these pools for Sports Performance Training. Several local high school football teams train in our pools with exceptional results. Many parents elect to send their student athletes to us as individual or small groups to take advantage of the extraordinary results improving strength, endurance, speed, coordination, etc by following our aquatic Sports Performance Training program. We grow not only in size, number of locations, and employees but also with new ideas, innovation and technology… all for the benefit of our patients’ well-being. |
