Paul R. Hetrick, D.C., R.C.R.D.,
C.C.E.P.
President
Dr. Paul Hetrick
is the founder of The Hetrick Center and inventor of the
HydroWorx© pools. He graduated from Palmer College of
Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1977. Dr. Hetrick thn went on to do
a 300 hour postgraduate program in Rehabilitation and a 100 hour
program in Extremity Adjusting. Dr. Hetrick is on the postgraduate
faculty of multiple Chiropractic colleges/universities and frequently
lectures to doctors throughout the US and Europe on numerous topics. He
also consults with professional sports teams who have purchased HydroWorx©
pools regarding their athletes. He enjoys golfing, biking and reading
in his free time. |

Scott A. Colman, D.C.
Vice-President, Director of
Chiropractic Services
Dr. Scott Colman
joined our team in 2001 after graduating from Palmer College of
Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He also received his B.S. in
Microbiology from Miami University. Dr. Colman assists with our Sports
Performance Training Program and has a special interest in working with
athletes. He not only treats injured athletes, but enjoys helping them
function at their optimum and prevent injuries from occurring. In his
spare time, Dr. Colman enjoys playing golf and spending time with his
wife, Dr. Mary Colman and their son, Drew. |

Mary J. Colman, D.C.
Senior
Associate & Mount Joy Clinic Manager
Dr. Mary Colman
presently works out of our Mount Joy office. She came to The Hetrick
Center upon graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2001. She
has a true interest in treating pregnant women and children and also
specializes in Hormonal Counseling. Dr. Colman was a Collegiate
All-American at The University of Richmond and went to the Olympic
Trials for Synchronized Swimming. A highlight of her professional
career was treating patients in an underdeveloped part of Brazil. She
loves to spend time with her husband, Dr. Scott Colman and son, Drew. |

Jonathan E. Tompkins, D.C., C.C.E.P.
Dr. Jon Tompkins
came to The Hetrick Center in 2006 upon graduation from Palmer College
of Chiropractic, Florida. he is a former Eagle Scout and was named to
the ECAC Lacrosse League All-Academic team as well as receiving the
Stony Brook Senior Student-Athlete Award. He has a special interest in
Sports Performance and Nutrition and enjoys exercising, playing golf
and fishing. |

Edward L. Hevner, D.C.
Dr. Ed Hevner
joined our team in 2006, but has been in practice since 1999. He
graduated from Sherman College of chiropractic in South Carolina and
also holds an undergraduate degree in Marketing from NYU. He practices
out of our Harrisburg office and has a special interest in
rehabilitative care of the spine. He enjoys the outdoors and spending
time with his wife, Melanie and their children, Zachary and Valerie. |

Brian D. Barrett, D.C.
Dr. Brian Barrett
is a 2006 graduate of New York Chiropractic College and also holds a BS
in Biology from Shippensburg University. He has a particular interest
in treating the elderly as well as athletes. When not working, Brian
enjoys the outdoors and playing soccer and softball. He enjoys watching
all sports especially football and rugby. |

Craig John, D.C.
Dr.
John is a graduate of Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in
Spartanburg, South Carolina where he was consistently on the
Dean’s List. He also holds a Bachelor of Science
Degree from South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, South
Carolina. During college, Dr. John was active in the Alpha
Phi Alpha Fraternity, performed extensive volunteer work and was very
active with his church. Before joining The Hetrick Center,
Dr. John was employed as an exam doctor in South Carolina where he
gained invaluable professional and business experience. Dr.
John was born in New York City, but spent most of his childhood in
South Carolina. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time
with family, reading and traveling. |

Megan R. Barchiesi, D.C.
Dr. Barchiesi
is a recent graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas,
Texas. Dr. Meg also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Sports Medicine with a concentration in Exercise Science from Elon
University in Elon, North Carolina. In her spare time, she
enjoys hiking, skiing and reading. She loves spending time
with family, friends and her English bulldog, Luigi. |
Ray F. Higby, D.C.
Dr. Ray Higby began practicing in Behtel, Maine, where he was also a member of the Chamber of Commerce. He Graguated from Texas Chiropractic College in 2004 and received his undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering in 1991 from Alfred State. In his spare time, Dr. Ray enjoys spending time with his wife, Ria, and his 19 month old son, Ethan. Dr. Ray is an avid NY Giants and Boston Red Sox fan. He also enjoys watching and playing just about any type of sport. |
Timothy A. Duke, D.C.
Dr. Duke is a 2007 graduate of Logan College of Chriropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri. Dr. Duke also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Biology. Dr. Duke split his Undergraduate years between Clarion University in Clarion, PA and Logan College. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing, and exercising. He Also enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Alicia. |

Kimberly Remeta, M.S., R.D., L.D.N.
Kim graduated with a BS in Nutrition from Clemson University in South
Carolina. She also holds a Master’s Degree in
Nutrition and a minor in Exercise Physiology from the University of
Knoxville, Tennessee. She became certified as a Nutrition and Life Coach
in 2007. Kim's past experiences have allowed her to counsel clients individually
or in a group setting. She is skilled in
nutritional counseling for adult and adolescent disordered eating,
obesity, heart disease, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, hypertension,
polycystic ovary syndrome and celiac disease.

Amy
L. Heckman, M.P.T.
Vice-President, Director of Physical Therapy
Amy
graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Masters in Physical
Therapy in April 1997. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in
Kinesiology in May 1995 from Pennsylvania
State University. Amy enjoys seeing patients of all ages and
conditions, but is particularly interested in athletic injuries. Amy
enjoys running, biking and playing with her boys Jake and Benjamin. |

Christy
R. Carroll, M.S.P.T.
Christy graduated with a Master of Science
degree in Physical Therapy from College Misericordia in 2002. She also
holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences, graduating Magna
Cum Laude. Christy has a keen interest in orthopedic and
Women’s Health issues and has been quite successful in
treating these conditions. Christy has also had work published in 2004
in Physical and Occupational Therapy in Geriatrics.
In her spare time, Christy enjoys reading, playing with her son Ryan
and spending time with family. |

Allyson
M. Eisenhour, M.S.P.T.
Allyson is a
graduate of College Misercordia, receiving her Master of Science degree
in Physical Therapy in May 2004. She also graduated Magna cum Laude
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences. Allyson
specializes in Vestibular Rehab and has helped many people eliminate
their symptoms. Allyson enjoys playing volleyball and coaching the
Middletown High School Girls volleyball team, shopping, and spending
time with her husband Jason, and her Golden Retriever, Reiley. |

Carolyn
Harmuth, B.S., PTA, Senior Physical Therapy Assistant, Clinical
Instructor
Carolyn received
her Associate's Degree from Central Pennsylvania College in May 1997.
She is a 1992 graduate of Lock Haven University with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Recreation/Fitness Management. Carolyn has worked at
The Hetrick Center since 1999 and is currently continuing her education
at Neumann College for her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.
Carolyn enjoys running and weight training, golfing, reading, sleeping,
working on her yard and being outside in sunny weather. |

Jared
P. Goughnour, PTA
Jared received
his Associate's Degree from Central Pennsylvania College in May 2002.
He began his PTA career at The Hetrick Center upon graduation and has
assumed responsibility for overseeing pool operations, as well as
treating land therapy patients. Jared enoys working on cars and
motorcycles, riding motorcycles (kawasaki), and watching UFC
fighting/mixed martial arts. Jared has studied Kenpo Karate and Tai
Chi. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife Sarah and
his cats Speedy and Clutch. |

Tom
J. Staub, PTA
Tom received his
Associate's Degree from Central Pennsylvania College in May 2005. Tom
began his PTA career at The Hetrick Center upon graduation and divides
his time between treating pool and land therapy patients.Tom enjoys
watching NASCAR, going fishing, watching football, woodworking, and
working on his truck. |
Amber Keefer, PTA
Amber started at our Mechanicsburg office after graduating from Central Pennsylvania College in May 2008. In her spare time she enjoys running, working out, hiking, kayaking, playing soccer and waiting tables. When she can, she also enjoys visiting her family near Lewisburg. |

Priscilla Herd, C.M.T.
Priscilla Herd
graduated from the Alternative Conjunction Clinic and School of Massage
Therapy in 2003. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral
Science from Messiah College. She has completed further training in
Neuromuscular Therapy: The Shoulder Region in June 2006. In December of
2005, Priscilla traveled to New Orleans to help in the Hurricane
Katrina Relief. She helped clean up and repair homes as well as
distribute Christmas gifts to children affected by the disaster. When
not treating patients, Priscilla enjoys biking, singing, drama, wood
working, reading and art. But most of all, Priscilla loves to spend
time with her daughter, Casey. |

Sam
Naples, C.M.T.
Sam Naples joined
The Hetrick Center in 2005 upon graduation from the computer Learning
Network as a Certified Massage Therapist. Sam originally went into the
field of Massage Therapy because of all the different things massage
can do for patients. He thoroughly enjoys the gratification that comes
from being able to help so many people through massage. When not
working, Sam loves camping, sitting around the campfire and burning up
the dance floor! |

Rebecca
Cline, C.M.T.
Becca Cline joined our Mechanicsburg office in June 2007 upon
graduation from the Baltimore School of Massage, York Campus. She is
also currently working towards her Degree in Physical Fitness Education
with a goal to become a Personal Trainer. When not practicing
massage, Becca enjoys working out, playing the violin, reading and
spending time outdoors. |

Kimberley
Beverly, C.M.T.
Kim graduated from the Computer Learning Network as a Certified Massage
Therapist in 2007 and became a Hetrick Center team member at our Mount
Joy office in December 2007. Kim is married with a 1 year old
daughter and another child due in May. She is very passionate
about helping others through massage therapy, as well as caring for her
family, working in the garden and working with animals. She
also enjoys playing the piano and making stained glass. |
