The Hetrick Center first opened in 1979, when founder Dr. Paul Hetrick opened his chiropractic clinic in Middletown, PA. From the very beginning, he set high personal standards to provide the best quality health care services available. Simultaneously, he earned the trust and friendship of his patients and the community he served. As Dr. Hetrick continued to advance his own education and experience, he developed a “vision” for a unique health care clinic, with a “multidisciplinary” approach to treating patients. He brought together a variety of specialized providers, in an effort to provide patient-centered services under one roof.
In turn, the practice flourished due to the convenience of seeing multiple providers in a collaborative environment. To provide further rehabilitative programs, Dr. Hetrick invented the HydroWorx© aquatic therapy pools. Because of these innovative pools, Hydroworx and The Hetrick Center has gained notoriety throughout the world, while presenting the company a unique, state-of-the-art service to their patients.
New Owners
In 2015, Dr. Hetrick sold The Hetrick Center to Drs. Scott and Mary Colman. Under the Colmans, The Hetrick Center continues to thrive as they carry out a vision of clinical excellence. Known today as a well-respected, non-surgical approach to treating musculoskeletal and neurological disorders, the Colmans lead a team of passionate providers who provide patient-centered and integrated care. Employees have an endless thirst for knowledge, along with extraordinary interpersonal skills.
Because of the continued outpouring of support in the communities which The Hetrick Center serves, the company will continue to grow and serve patients in the Middletown, Mount Joy, Harrisburg, and Mechanicsburg areas in the years-to-come!
