Mary Szwejbka Colman thank you for encouraging me to do the Standard Process 21 day purification! Today is the 21st day and I feel great! I will be 53 in May and for the first time in years I wake up with zero aches or pains. Well except my surgically repaired shoulder! Dr. Mary coached me thru the journey and I lost a bunch of weight and gave up nicotine. Now the hard part begins of trying not to revert back to my old ways. I haven't had to wait too long to be seen. I'm in and out in no time.

I cannot say enough about how amazing the care is at The Hetrick Center. From the first interaction, I felt cared for by the scheduler. When I told her the pain I was having, she offered to put me on a cancelation list and then was able to move my appointment to a closer date. I was barely able to use the stairs or get out of bed. I then saw Dr. Mary Colman. I had never been to a chiropractor before so she explained what they do and what she was going to do to relieve my issue. After the first visit, I was already feeling much better but after the third, I couldn't believe that my pain was GONE. Before going to see her, I though something must be terribly wrong because I had never had pain like that ever in my life. She is so compassionate and she's an amazing doctor. I would highly recommend this practice and I am going to be going for regular adjustments now. Thank you to Dr. Mary and staff for the great care and comfortable environment you provide!

Prior to going to Hetrick I had about 4 or 5 sessions of physical therapy over 8 year span for 8 significant muscle injuries acquired over my lifetime. I hit a plateau of recovery and certain muscles just would not release with exercises. I learned Hetrick had a masseuse for medical massaging and figured it was worth a try. Personal expense is well worth it!! Lisa has an intuitive gifting for working chronic injuries!! With wise calculations using my muscle reactions, she has made progress over my stubborn injuries each time I go; here a little, there a little, deeper and deeper into the tissue. My gait for walking has improved with quad, IT band, hamstring, ankle and foot releases. My neck and shoulder range of motion is better and now almost pain free. I can hold my head in a more normal position and that seems to help jaw position and TMJ tension. My left shoulder blade relaxes and is finally not sticking out or poking into the backs of chairs or car seat when I sit or drive. My quality of activity is so much better. I give 5 stars to Lisa.

MY Hetrick Center Chiro, Dr Ed, works certain joints for better flexibility and alignment. He's funny, gentle, works according to injury, and is careful. Occasionally he suggests PT exercises to help issues he finds. There have been times I had appts with Lisa, then went directly to an adjustment with Dr Ed because my relaxed muscles make the chiro adjustments more effective with certain tight joints. I give 5 stars for my chiros experience.

Angie is definitely a 5 star. She goes out of her way to listen to you and make you feel so much better.
